Melanie Castillo, born and raised in New York City, is a professional Latin dancer of Puerto Rican and Dominican roots. With over 10 years in the Latin dance community, Melanie has built a global following by performing, competing, and teaching. Her dance career has taken her around the world, visiting countries such s Mexico, Canada, China, Malaysia, Spain, South Africa, Sweden and countless others. With several competition titles under her belt, Melanie works within the Latin dance community teaching, performing, training and choreographing nationally and internationally.
